MOUNTING THE TV

You can mount your TV under a cabinet or use it as a portable.

To mount the TV under a cabinet, do the following:

WARNINGS: The mounting bracket is not designed or use in a moving
vehicle. If you mount the TV in a vehicle, remove it from the
bracket and store it in a safe place before moving the vehicle.

To reduce the risk of fire, do not mount the TV directly over a
           heating surface.

1. Using the mounting bracket as a guide, mark the position for the
    mounting hole.

2. Drill a hole the size of the bolt.

3. Install the bolt, washes, mounting bracket, and nut. Tighten the nut.

4. Slide the TV onto the mounting bracket.

For proper ventilation, be sure there is at least 10 inches of space on
each side of the TV.

CONNECTING THE POWER SOURCE

You can power your TV using an AC power source or a 12-volt vehicle
battery.

USING AC POWER

1. Plug the supplied AC power cord into the TV's INPUT power jack. Then,
plug the other end of the power cord into any standard AC power
    outlet.

2. Use the strap on the back of the TV to secure the excess cord, as
    described below:

    a. Coil the excess cord.

    b. Wrap the strap around the excess cord. Then insert the strap into
the slot in the strap's base and pull the strap until the cord is
        lightly bound.

NOTE: To release the strap, push and hold down the lever on the strap's
base and pull out the strap.

USING A VEHICLE BATTERY

NOTES: Your vehicle must have a 12-volt negative-ground electrical
        system.

To use vehicle battery power you must unplug the AC power cord
        from the TV.

1. Plug the small end of the supplied DC adapter cord into the DC 12V
    adapter jack.

2. Unplug your vehicle's cigarette lighter, and plug the large end of the
DC adapter cord into the cigarette-lighter socket.

CAUTIONS: To prevent electrical shock and damage to your TV and vehicle,
always unplug the DC adapter from the cigarette-lighter socket
before unplugging it from the TV.

The supplied DC adapter cord (manufactured by Capetronic USA
(H.K.) Inc., Model No. JA238) supplied 12 volts with the center
tip positive and can deliver the 1.16 amps the TV draws. Using
a DC adapter cord that does not meet these specifications might
damage the TV, the DC adapter cord, or the vehicle's electrical
           system.

Changing the Fuse

If the TV does not work using vehicle battery power, check the fuse in the
DC adapter cord. If the fuse if bad, replace it with a 3-amp fuse, such
as Radio Shack Cat. No. 270-1246. Do not use a fuse with a higher rating.

USING AN ANTENNA

In most metropolitan areas, the built-in telescoping antenna provides
adequate reception.

For improved reception, you can connect an external VHF/UHF antenna to
your TV.

USING THE TELESCOPING ANTENNA

Extend the antenna to its full length, and adjust it for the best
reception.

NOTE: The telescoping antenna is disconnected when you use the EXT ANT
       jack.

USING AN EXTERNAL ANTENNA

If you use 75-ohm coaxial cable with your external antenna, use an F-to-
1/8-inch miniplug adapter (Radio Shack Cat. No. 278-257), not supplied) to
connect the coaxial cable to the EXT ANT jack.

If you use 300-ohm flat-lead with your external antenna, use the supplied
300-to-75 ohm adapter as follows:

1, Connect the wire from the antenna to the terminals on the adapter.

2. Insert the adapter's plug into the EXT ANT jack.
