Installing the Remote Control's Batteries

You need two AA batteries to power the remote control. For the longest
battery life, we recommend alkaline batteries (Radio Shack Cat. No. 23-
552). To ensure consistent operation, change the batteries about once a
year.

1. Remove the battery compartment cover by sliding it in the direction of
    the arrow.

2. Install two AA batteries as indicated by the polarity symbols (+ and
    -) marked inside the compartment.

Caution: Batteries installed incorrectly might leak and damage the remote
control. Do not mix old batteries with new ones, and do not
mix different types of batteries (for example, standard and
          alkaline).

3. Replace the battery compartment cover.
