Note:
If any of these problems go away during AC operation, you should
suspect weak batteries to be the cause.
Do not leave the set in direct sunlight or any place where it will be
subjected to extreme heat (above 140 degrees F/60 degrees C), such as
in parked car or near a heating unit.
The ventilation slots in the unit must NOT be blocked or covered.
This cold cause overheating and damage the unit.
To prevent electric shock, do not use the PORTAVISION TV/Monitor in
wet or moist places, such as a bathroom or kitchen, when operating on
AC current.
Disconnect the AC power cord (at the wall) and remove the batteries,
when the unit will not be used for a long time (one week or more).
The set may not operate if it is moved quickly from a very cold place
(below 32 degrees F/0 degrees C) to a warm place. In the case, allow
the unit warm for 30 minutes before turning on the power.
Unplug the set before cleaning.
Use a soft, lint-free cloth, dampened in a weak detergent solution, to
clean the cabinet. DO NOT use benzene, aerosol sprays or other strong
cleaner - they could cause cracks in, or deterioration of, the
cabinet.
