AC Operation Check the connections at both ends of
                                     the AC POWER CORD.

from the lighter plug, if disconnects

EARPHONE

Use the EARPHONE for private listening. When it is plugged into the
EARPHONE JACK the internal speaker is automatically disconnected. Using
the EARPHONE extends battery life because it uses less power than the
speaker.
