Select one of the three power sources.

Turn the ON = OFF/VOLUME CONTROL clockwise until it "clicks"
on.

Set the VHF/UHF SELECTOR to the desired channel range (VHF LO for channels
2-6, VHF HI for channels 7-13 and UHF for channels 14-83).

Tune slowly to the desire station, using the TUNING CONTROL and
observing the CHANNEL INDICATOR.

Adjust the CONTRAST and BRIGHTNESS CONTROLS to obtain the best picture.

Adjust the VOLUME CONTROL to the desired loudness.

ANTENNAS

Your PORTAVISION is equipped with a Telescopic Monopole Antenna for
strong areas, and External Antenna Terminals for outdoor VHF/UHF antenna
use in weak signal areas.  The following TABLE OF RECEPTION is a guide
to the optimum use of antennas.

NOTE:  Reception of channels 7-13 might be slightly better (especially
       in weak signal areas) with the ROD ANTENNA shortened a little.
