(160-0404) Care and Maintenance Faxback Doc. # 32734

Your Model 11 9-inch Color TV/VCP is an example of superior design and
craftsmanship. The following suggestions will help you care for the
TV/VCP so that you can enjoy it for years.

Keep the TV/VCP dry. If it does not get wet, wipe it dry immediately.
Liquids can contain minerals that corrode the electronic circuits.

For your TV/VCP's remote control, use only fresh batteries of the
recommended size and type. Always remove old or weak batteries.
They can leak chemicals that can damage electronic circuits.

Handle the TV/VCP gently and carefully. Dropping it can damage its
circuit boards and case and can cause it to work improperly.

Use and store the TV/VCP only in normal temperature environments.
Temperature extremes can shorten the life of electronic devices,
and distort or melt plastic parts.

Keep the TV/VCP away from the dust and dirt, which can cause premature
    wear of parts.

Wipe the TV/VCP with a dampened cloth occasionally to keep it looking
new. Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents, or strong
    detergents to clean the TV/VCP.

Your TV/VCP has ventilation holes to allow heat to dissipate properly.
Obstructing these holes or placing your TV/VCP in a confined location
can prevent proper ventilation and cause malfunction to occur.

Modifying or tampering with your TV/VCP's internal components can cause a
malfunction and might invalidate the TV/VCP's warranty and void your FCC
authorization to operate it. If your TV/VCP is not operating as it should,
the suggestions in the troubleshooting chart might help. If you still need
assistance, take your TV/VCP to your local Radio Shack store where our
personnel can arrange for service if needed.
