Your Portavision VHF/UHF Television with AM/FM Radio in an example of
superior design and craftsmanship. The following suggestions will help
you care for the Portavision so you can enjoy it for years.

Keep the Portavision dry. If it gets wet, wipe it dry immediately.
Liquids might contain minerals that can corrode electronic circuits.

Use and store the Portavision only in normal temperature environments,
and avoid sudden temperature changes. Temperature extremes can shorten
the life of electronic devices, damage batteries, and distort or melt
    plastic parts.

Handle the Portavision gently and carefully. Dropping it can damage
the circuit boards and cause the Portavision to work improperly.

Keep the Portavision away from dust and dirt, which can cause premature
    wear of parts.

Wipe the Portavision with a damp cloth occasionally to keep it looking
new. Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents, or strong
    detergents to clean the Portavision.

Use only fresh batteries of the recommended size and type. Always
remove old or weak batteries. They can leak chemicals that can
    destroy electronic circuits.

Modifying or tampering with the Portavision's internal components can cause
a malfunction and might invalidate the warranty and void your FCC
authorization to operate it. If the Portavision is not performing as it
should, take it your local Radio Shack store for assistance.

CHANGING THE FUSE

If the TV does not work using vehicle battery power, check the fuse in the
DC adapter cord. If the fuse is bad, replace it with a 3-amp fuse, such
as Radio Shack Cat. No. 270-1009. Do not use a fuse with a higher rating.

THE FCC WANTS YOU TO KNOW

operating properly. To determine whether your Portavision is causing

Move your Portavision away from the TV or radio receiving the
    interference.

Connect your Portavision to an outlet that is on a different electrical
circuit than the TV or radio receiving the interference.
