PROGRAMMING THE TUNER MEMORY

You can program the tuner's memory so that when you press CHANNEL up arrow
or down arrow the VCR tuner scans only the active channels in the area.

1.  Turn on the VCR and the TV that is connected to it.

2.  Set the TV to the same channel as the #/4 CH switch.

3.  Press [TV/VCR] on the remote control unit so that VCR appears on the
    display.

4.  Set the INPUT SELECT switch to TUNER.

5.  Set the CATV switch for the type signals you plan to receive.

6.  Press [PRESET].

7.  If you want to store all the active channels in the area in the tuner
    memory, press [TUNING].  The display scans the channels and all active
    channels are automatically stored.

8.  If you want to select a channel specifically, use the remote control's
    number buttons to select.  Then press [ADD].  The channel display
    stops the flash to indicate that the channle is stored.

9.  Repeat Step 8 to manually store additional channels in the tuner
    memory.  When you finish programming, press [PRESET] to exit the
    programing mode.
