INSTALLING THE REMOTE CONTROL'S BATTERIES

The remote control requires two AA batteries (not supplied). For the best
results, we recommend alkaline batteries, such as Radio Shack Cat. No. 23
552.

Follow these steps to install/replace the batteries:

1. Press the battery compartment cover's latch and lift out the cover.

2. Remove the old batteries if necessary, then install fresh batteries as
indicated by the polarity symbols (+ and -) marked inside the
    compartment.

CAUTIONS: Use only fresh batteries of the recommended size and type.

Always dispose of old batteries promptly and properly.

               Never incinerate batteries.

3. Replace the cover.

NOTE: If the remote control does not operate properly, replace both
       batteries.

When VCR appears on the VCR's display, the VCR sends the video signal to
the TV/monitor on whichever channel you select using the VCR's CHANNEL 3/4
