Model 151 MovieCorder
(160-0852) Important Notes Faxback Doc. # 18471

Do not expose the camcorder to high temperatures. Excessive heat can
damage the camcorder. Do not place the camcorder near a heat source
(heaters, etc.) Do not leave the camcorder in a closed car on hot
    days.

If you notice anything unusual (smoke, strange noise or odor, etc.),
turn off the camcorder immediately. Contact your local Radio Shack
    store for assistance.

Do not let moisture (rain, steam, dew, salt, water, etc.) enter the
camcorder. Do not allow any foreign objects (sand metal objects,
flammable articles, etc.) to enter the camcorder.

Do not aim the camcorder directly at bright light sources. Do not
place the camcorder near bright light sources, as heat damage can
    result.

Do not use this camcorder under the following conditions:

high humidity, high vibration, excessive dust or dirt, or near
strong magnetic fields (near transmitting antennas, motors,
        fluorescent lights, etc).

Do not use the camcorder for monitoring only.

Do not wrap the camcorder in any material during operation, the
temperature inside can rise excessively and cause the camcorder to
    malfunction.

Video heads

When the video heads have been used for a long time, the playback picture
can appear fuzzy. When this happens, have the video head cleaned. Take
your camcorder to a professional technician, because the video heads might
be damaged if you use a cleaning tape cassette.

Video heads wear out in the same way as a phono stylus. If the picture is
not clear after the heads have been cleaned, the heads are probably worn.
Replace the heads. Take the camcorder to your local Radio Shack store for
assistance.

We recommend that the camcorder be inspected, cleaned, lubricated, and
serviced after every 1000 hours of use.

Viewfinder

Remove the viewfinder attachment by turning it counterclockwise and remove
dust accumulated inside the viewfinder.
