Your Memorex Model 128 Moviecorder camcorder combines all the features of
a video camera and a portable VCR is one lightweight package. Using
standard VHS cassettes, you can record and play back home movies anywhere.
The low-light (0.7 lux) CCD imager makes special lighting unnecessary in
most situations.
You can also use the camcorder as a VCR to play back a tape or copy to
another VCR.
This camcorder has many special features that make operation simple,
convenient, and versatile. Be sure to read this manual carefully and

1/3-inch CCD Imager - provides a clear, high-resolution picture,
even in low-light conditions (down to 0.7
lux).
2/3-inch Electronic Viewfinder - lets you monitor the picture during with
Variable Focus recording and playback.
12-to-1 Power Zoom Lens - lets you go smoothly from wide-angle to
telephoto shots at the push of a button.
You can use most standard 43mm
photographic filters.
Fuzzy Logic Circuitry - enables the camcorder to focus and adjust
for lighting much like the human eye.
Automatic Focusing - provides automatic, full-range focusing
from 3/8 inch to infinity for a sharp,
clear picture in almost all situations.
You can use manual focusing for special
situations.
Zoom Auto Focus - automatically zooms out to adjust the
focus if you zoom in on an object and the
object is out of focus.
Fade In/Fade Out - provides professional-quality scene
transitions.
Automatic Iris Control - constantly adjusts for almost any lighting
situation (down to 0.7 lux).
Auto White-Balance Control - ensures natural color reproduction in
either natural or artificial light.

only. The camcorder does not perform normal playback for
programs pre-recorded in the LP or EP mode.
