| There are five basic weather sensors commonly used with RadioShack weather stations and weather devices. However, all stations may not have all five sensor types, and most will have multiple thermometers. The pages below detail the general operation of each type of sensor. Because the sensor operation is separate from how the information is transmitted to the base, the operations information would be valid regardless of whether the system is wired or wireless.
