Weather Radios with AM/FM have the advantage of providing regular broadcast radio in addition to the weather band. You should select the radio and accessories that best meet your requirements. If you are in an area with a weak signal, you may need an external antenna and cable.
If you would like to adapt the weather radio for special needs, you can add components to flash lights, trigger a siren or trigger a strobe light when an alert is sounded on a radio with alarm out terminals.
