 630-1033 Indoor/Outdoor Thermometer

Question: How do I turn off the temperature alarm?

Answer:
Unfortunately, you cannot change the temperature range on the Wireless Indoor/Outdoor Thermometer (cat. no. 63-1033) so that the alarm on Channel 1 will not sound. Nor can you deactivate the feature on Channel 1. This feature was added for those who are watching the temperature for bringing in plants and pets. And for those who may need to adjust the temperature in greenhouses for their plants.

However, the temperature alarm only functions when the remote sensor is set for Channel 1. If you change the remote sensor to Channel 2 inside of the battery compartment, you can select Channel 2 to view the temperature, and you will no longer hear the alarm. There is no way to turn off the alarm function on Channel 1.
