In this tutorial, you will be shown how to program the temperature sensors. Paired with the remote sensor, your Weatheradio registers temperatures indoors and outdoors. When you set the Weatheradio and the remote sensor to the same channel (1-3), your Weatheradio displays the current temperatures. You can view the minimum and maximum temperatures and display the temperature in °C or °F.

| While the clock appears on the display, press MENU. TEMPERATURE appears on the display. |

| Step 2: Select the TEMPERATURE Options |

| Press the RIGHT arrow key. INDOOR will appear on the display. Press the UP or DOWN arrow to select INDOOR, OUTDOOR, °C/°F, or REMOTE CHANNEL.
Go to Resetting Indoor/Outdoor to change the maximum or minimum temperatures.
Go to Setting °C/°F to select Celsius or Fahrenheit.
Go to Setting the Remote Channel for setting up your remote temperature sensor.
Go to Exiting Program Mode to exit programming. |

In INDOOR mode, you can reset the minimum and maximum temperatures for the Weatheradio's location.
In OUTDOOR mode, you can reset the minimum and maximum temperatures for the remote sensor's location.

| When °C/°F appears, press the RIGHT arrow key. °C appears on the display. |

| Press the UP or DOWN arrow keys to select °F format. |

| Step 3: Confirm the Selection |

| Press the RIGHT arrow key. Both indoor and outdoor temperatures appear in the selected format, and a beep sounds.
Press the LEFT arrow key twice. TEMPERATURE appears on the display.
Go to Setting the Remote Channel for setting up your remote sensor.
Go to Exiting Program Mode to exit programming. |

For the remote sensor to operate, both the sensor and the Weatheradio must be set to the same channel. If the Weatheradio does not display the remote temperature after about 2 minutes while the remote sensor is off (--.- appears), that channel is clear and free for use. If a remote temperature is displayed while the remote sensor is off, there is interference on that channel. To clear the interference, set the sensor and the Weatheradio to a different channel.

| Press the RIGHT arrow key. When REMOTE appears on the display, then CHANNEL appears on the display, press the RIGHT arrow key.
Note: REMOTE and CHANNEL do not appear on the display at the same time. |

| Step 2: Find the Remote Channel |
| |

| Press the UP or DOWN arrow keys on the Weatheradio to select a channel (1-3) that matches the channel set on the remote sensor.
Note: The channel on the remote sensor is located underneath the batteries. |

| Step 3: Select the Remote Channel |
| |

| Press the RIGHT arrow key when the desired channel appears. A beep sounds and REMOTE CHANNEL flashes on the display again. Go to Exiting Program Mode to exit programming. |
