| Question: How much radiation do cordless telephones emit, and how does that compare with cellular phone emissions? |
Answer: Generally speaking, cordless telephones emit a very small level of radiated emissions, particularly when compared to cellular telephones. For example, the radiated emissions levels from today's tri-mode cellular telephones typically measure from 0.3 watts to 0.5 watts. Tthe certification testing for the 43-1101 telephone indicates that the radiated emissions levels vary from 0.0003 Watts to 0.0009 watts, which is 1000 times less power than that emitted by a cellular telephone.
