| Question: What is the difference between Distinctive Ringing and Priority Ringing? |
Answer: Priority ringing is not the same as distinctive ringing. Priority ringing is like VIP, in that you program a number into the memory, and when that number calls you, the telephone will ring in a special pattern. Distinctive ringing requires a second telephone number issued by the telephone company. When someone sending a fax calls this number, the telephone rings in a specific pattern to alert you that it is an incoming fax.

| Question: What is 3/4 Duplex? |
Answer: Three-quarter duplex operation allows both parties to hear each other talk. However, the audio received by the remote user (not on the handsfree kit) is attenuated by 6 to 12 dB when both parties are talking at the same time. The local user (on the handsfree kit) will hear the incoming audio at full volume even when they are both talking.
