Answer: Disconnect the power, let the tape position itself then try again with a new tape.
- Press and hold ANNOUNCE for 2 seconds until the TAD beeps.
- Speak in a normal voice about 12 inches from the front of the TAD. Ask for the caller's name, telephone number, and message.
- Press STOP/ERASE when you finish your outgoing message. The TAD beeps once and automatically plays your outgoing message twice.
