You can transmit file records from a 650-0840 or a 650-0939 to the 650-0840, but you cannot transmit file records from the 650-0840 to the 650-0939.
The 650-0877, 650-0840 and the 650-0939 are limited because the record field lengths are not the same. With a 650-0877 and a 650-0842, only the first 55 lines of each record can be transmitted. The display may dim during transmission, but it should return to normal. If all the characters of a record in a sending unit match those of one in the receiving unit, the record is stored as a copy.
