Answer: You will get two beeps if you are not in the trunk mode. Be sure to press TRUNK until it flashes on the display.

every time I try to program in an ID. |
Answer: Make sure that you do not already have that ID programmed. If you try to enter an ID that is already programmed, you will get an error.

Answer: The three intermediate frequencies are 380.7 MHz, 10.85 MHz and 450 KHz.

Answer: E2 is indicating that you need to try a different fleetmap.

Answer: When using receiving constantly, you can expect between three and four hours of battery life.

| Question: What does this scanner use for memory backup and how long will it retain the memory? |
Answer: The memory is saved on an EEPROM chip and will last as long as the chip lasts. It is not dependant on a power source.

| Question: How do I turn off hyperscan? |
Answer: You can only switch between normal and hypersearch during a LIMIT SEARCH or DIRECT SEARCH within 29-54 MHz or 137-174 MHz. Once you are in limit or direct search within one of these bands, press H/S to change the search speed.
