This tutorial will show you how to save your scanner's working memory into the scratchpad (#) V-Scanner folder. The Pro-96 contains ten V-Scanner (Virtual Scanner) folders "0-9" and one scratchpad folder "#". Folders 0-9 can be used to store scanner configurations and can be recalled for future use. The scratchpad folder number is a temporary folder, used to temporarily hold working memory contents while managing the V-Scanner memory. Any information in a V-Scanner folder will be lost when another configuration is saved to it. All settings are saved when the configuration is stored, this includes display contrast, lockout settings, channel, talkgroups, ID names etc. The Pro-96 comes with pre-loaded frequencies and IDs for the top 100 trunking radio systems in the U.S. |
