PRO-96 (200-0526) Tutorial: How To Turn Banks On/Off And How to Delete
Frequencies
This tutorial will show you how to turn channel storage banks on or off while you are scanning and how to delete a frequency from a channel. Any channels that are in the banks that you have turned off will not be scanned. At least one channel bank has to be active, that is all channels banks cannot be turned off at the same time. In manual mode any channel can be selected even though it may be turned off.

To turn off a storage channel bank while scanning, press the corresponding number key. In this case channel 6 was turned off by pressing the number six key. To turn the bank back on, press the corresponding number key again.
Delete a Frequency from a Channel
Step 1: Enter the Program Mode
Press PGM.
Step 2: Enter the Channel Number of the Frequency Location
Enter the channel number that containing the frequency that you want to delete. Press PGM.
Step 3: Delete the Frequency
Press FUNC and CLR to delete the frequency. 0.0000 will display.
