PRO-96 (200-0526) Tutorial: How To A Assign Text Tag To A Group ID

This tutorial will show you how your scanner can be customized by means of text tags (maximum of 12 characters) that can be stored in the scanner for easy identification of group IDs. The text is entered using the text chart below.

Step 1: Enter the Group ID List

Press PGM then press TRUNK.

Step 2: Select the Bank and the Sub-Bank

To select the bank press FUNC and the arrow keys. To select the sub-bank press TRUNK.

Step 3: Select the Group ID and Enter the Text Mode

Use the arrow keys to select the group ID to which to want to add text. Press TEXT.

Step 4: Enter and Store the Text-Tag

Enter the text tag information using the numeral keys of the text input chart. Press ENTER.
