PRO-2018 (200-0424) Tutorial: How To Clear A Stored Channel

This tutorial will show you how to clear a channel in which you have stored a frequency, so that the channel is empty.

Step 1: Stop the Scanning Process



If the unit is scanning, press the SCAN/MAN key to stop the scan mode. *MAN* will display.

Step 2: Select the Channel Number



To select the channel that you wish to clear, enter the channel number using the number keys. In this case, the channel to be cleared is #161.

Step 3: Enter Program Mode



Press the PGM key. The frequency *153.3850* in channel *161* is displayed.

Step 4: Clear Out the Channel



Press the 0 (zero) key and then press the ENT key. The frequency that you are clearing out will now show as *000.0000*, indicating that the channel is empty.
