 |
| |
| Decide which kind of transmission you want to listen to, and press the corresponding One Touch Bank key (marine, fire/police, air, ham, or weather). Depending on which button you press, either MAR, FIRE/POLICE, AIR, HAM, or WEATHER will display for about 2 seconds and then will change to show a frequency and start searching. In this case, the HAM bank was used. |
| |
| Step 2: Use the Arrow Keys to Search a Bank |

| If you want to reverse the search, hold down either the up or down arrow key for about 1 second. To search in small increments, press the arrows keys repeatedly, either up or down. To pause the search, press the up arrow key; and to resume, press the down arrow key. If you want to move speedily through the frequencies, hold down either arrow key and the scanner will move through the frequencies until you let go of the key. |

| Step 3: Search a Sub-Bank (fire/police, ham) |
| |
|
|

| The fire/police and ham banks include sub banks. To search a sub-bank, press a number key to select it: fire/police (keys 1-3) and ham (keys 1-4). In this case, ham sub-bank 2 was used.
Note: To stop frequency search, press one of the arrow keys. |
| |
| Step 4: Store an Active Frequency |
