| Step 1: Select the Channel |

| Press the PGM key and enter the number of the channel into which you want to store the frequency. In this case channel 6 was used. |

| Step 2: Enter the Program Mode |

| Press the PGM key, and the channel number will appear. |
| |
| Step 3: Enter the Frequency |
| |

Using the numbered keys on the keypad and the decimal point key " ", enter the desired frequency that you want to store. |

| Step 4: Store the Frequency |

Press the ENT key which will store the chosen frequency into the channel. Numbers are automatically rounded down to nearest valid frequency, e.g. 151.473 would display as 151.4700.
- Note: If you make a mistake in this step, the word "Error" appears on the display and the scanner will beep 3 times when you press the ENT key. All you have to do is start over from "Step 3: Enter the Frequency".

| Step 5: Program Frequencies into the Next Channel |

| In order to program a frequency into the next channel, press the PGM key and repeat Steps 3 through 4. |
