Which iGo do I need?
iGo or Adaptaplugs?
If you are a power user or general mobile user and are considering an Adaptaplug system, then iGo line is a superior product for what you need. It allows you to power laptops or other high-power items, two items at once from the same power supply, or a multi-device / multi-source power solution. However, the iGo line is NOT intended to replace the Adaptaplug line. Instead, Adaptaplugs will still be carried and are targeted to the user who:
- Already has an Adaptaplug-based charger and just needs a new tip
- Needs to power a single item continuously (such as an answering machine or cordless telephone)
In these two situations, your needs would be met better with the Adaptaplug system.
Choosing the Correct iGo Product
Once you have determined that you require the iGo line rather than Adaptaplugs, you need to be sure to select the correct iGo product. In order to do this, you need to know what type of devices you need to power, how many devices you want to power simultaneously and where you will need to power it or them.
