How to Set the Speaker Distances

FRONT speakers distance setting mode

Sets the distance from the FRONT speakers to the listening position.

Press the UP or DOWN arrow keys to set the distance of the FRONT speakers from the main listening position (within a 30 foot range).

Notes:

  • The initial setting is 10 feet.
  • One step equals about 1 foot.

CENTER speakers distance setting mode

Sets the distance from the CENTER speakers to the listening position.

Press the UP or DOWN arrow keys to set the distance of the CENTER speaker from the main listening position (within a 30 foot range).

Notes:

  • The initial setting is 10 feet.
  • When "C*" is selected in SPEAKERS setting mode, the center distance cannot be set.
  • One step equals about 1 foot.

SURROUND speakers distance setting mode

Set the distance from the Surround speakers to the listening position. Like the Center speaker position, the Surround speakers may be set in a location closer or farther to your main listening position than the Front speakers. Set the distance of the Surround speakers accurately to hear sounds coming from both Front and Surround speakers at the same time.

Press the UP or DOWN arrow keys to set the distance of the SURROUND speakers from the main listening position (within a 30 foot range).

Notes:

  • The initial setting is 10 feet.
  • When "S*" is selected in SPEAKERS setting mode, the SURROUND distance cannot be set.
  • One step equals about 1 foot.
