| Step 1: Connect the Digital Recorder to the Computer |

| Use the USB cable to connect the Digital Recorder to the computer. The Digital Recorder screen will display the word LINK. |

| Step 2: Open the Voice Recorder Link Software |
| |

| Click on the Voice Recorder Link program icon on the computer desktop to open it. The default display is Folder A and the messages it contains. |

| Step 3: Select the Folder |
| |

| Click on the folder tab that contains the message you want to delete. In this case folder D was selected. |
| |
| Step 4: Select the Message |

| |
| Select the message that you want to delete from the digital recorder. In this case message # 3 was selected. |
| |
| Click on the message you want to delete to select it. |
| Step 5: Delete Message |
| |
 |
| |
| Click on Edit-Delete from the pull down menu or press the DELETE key on your keyboard. |
| |
| Step 6: Confirm Deletion of Message |
| |
 |
| |
| A Confirm Deletion window will pop up. Click on NO to cancel deletion of message or on YES to delete it. |
