| Step 1: Connect the Digital Recorder to the Computer |

| Use the USB cable to connect the Digital Recorder to the computer. The Digital Recorder screen will display the word LINK. |

| Step 2: Open the Voice Recorder Link Software |
| |

| Click on the Voice Recorder Link program icon on the computer desktop to open it. The default display is Folder A and the messages it contains. |

| Play a Message that has not been Saved |
| |
| Step 3: Select the Message to Play |
| |

| |
| Click on the folder tab that contains the message you want to play and click on the message to select it. In this case message # 2 in folder D was selected. |

| Step 4: Select the Play Option |
| |
 |

| |
| Click on the "Play the voice message" icon. A Play Option window displays, select "Save the highlighted message and play it" option. Click OK. |

| Step 5: Upload and Save the Message |
| |
 |
 |
| |
| At the Save As window, rename the message if you want, select a save as format from the drop down box and click the SAVE button. |

| Step 6: Play the Message |
| |
 |
 |
| |
| After uploading and saving to your computer, the message will play. |
| |

| Play a Saved Message |
| |
| Step 3: Enter Play Message Mode |
| |

| |
| Click on the "Play the voice message" icon. A Play Option window displays, select "Play a saved message" option. Click OK. |

| Step 4: Select and Play the Message |
| |
 |
 |
| |
| Select the message that you want to play. Click on the OPEN button and the message will play. |
