In recorder mode, rotate the PLAY button up or down to locate the correct message number.
Step 2: Play the Message
Press the PLAY button to start listening to the message.
Step 3: Find the Index Number
Keep rotating the PLAY button up or down to rewind or fast-forward until INDEX briefly displays with the desired index number.
Repeat a Section of Playback
While the message is being played, a section can be repeated.
Step 1: Mark the Start of the Section
To mark the beginning of the section to be repeated, press the MODE/INDEX button. START will briefly display.
Step 2: Mark the End of the Section
To mark the end of the section to be repeated, press the MODE/INDEX button again. END will briefly display.
Step 3: Review the Message Section
The marked section of message will play over and over. LOOP will flash on the display alternating with the number of the message.
Step 4: Stop Reviewing the Message Section
To stop the section of message repeating press the MODE/INDEX button to continue with normal playback.
Intro-Scan (play the first 5 seconds of each message in a specific folder)
Step 1: Select the Intro-Scan Starting Point
Rotate the PLAY button until the desired message to begin scanning from is found.
Step 2: Enter the Scan Mode
Press down the PLAY button until INTRO and the number of the message alternately flash on the display.
Note: The recorder will play the first 5 seconds of each message, starting from the current message and ending with the last message.
Step 3: Stop the Scanning Process
Unless the scanning process is stopped sooner, the recorder will automatically stop scanning after the last message in the folder. To stop scanning before the last message, press down on the PLAY button.
