| Play Back a Message |
| Step 1: Enter the Recorder Mode |

| If you are in clock mode, press down the PLAY button to enter the recorder mode. |

| Step 2: Find Message |

| |
| To find the message that you want to listen to, rotate the PLAY button up or down until the number of the message that you want to hear displays. |

| Step 3: Start Playback |
| |
 |

| |
| Press down the PLAY button to start playing message. The time and the date that the message was recorded will briefly display. |
| |
| Step 4: Change the Playback Volume |
| |

 |
| |
| Press the VOL control button plus (+) to increase the volume or minus (-) to decrease the volume. |
| |
| Step 5: View the Remaining Time |
| |
 |
 |
| |
| To view the remaining time of the message, press down the DISP/SET button. REMAIN will display below the time that remains. |
| |
| Step 6: Pause/Stop Playback |
| |
| |
| |
| Press down the PLAY button to pause the message, and press it again to resume listening. The PLAY is also pressed down to stop the message playing. |
| |

| Change the Playback Speed |
| Step 1: Set Playback Speed to Normal |
| |
 |
|
| |
| Press down the DISP/SET button until one arrowhead briefly flashes on the display. |
| |
| Step 2: Set Playback Speed to Slow |
| |
 |
|
| |
| Press down the DISP/SET button until a bar and one arrowhead briefly flash on the display. |
| |
| Step 3: Set Playback Speed to Fast |
| |
 |

| |
| Press down the DISP/SET button until two arrowheads briefly flash on the display. |
| |
|
| Fast-Forward and Rewind |
| Step 1: Fast Forward |
| |
 |
| |
| Rotate the PLAY button downward, without pressing it down. The display will show the time quickly advancing through the remaining time of the message. |
| |
| Step 2: Rewind |
| |
 |
| |
| Rotate the PLAY button up, without pressing it down. The display will show the time quickly reversing through the message. |
