Tutorial: How to Turn the Alarm On and Off

This tutorial will show you how to turn the alarm on or off and how to silence it when it sounds at the preset time.

Step 1: Enter the Clock Mode



If you are in recorder mode press the MODE/INDEX button to enter the clock mode.

Step 2: Enter the Alarm Mode



Press the MODE/INDEX button again to enter the alarm mode and display the word ALARM and the time for which the alarm is set.

Step 3: Turn the Alarm On or Off

Alarm turned ON	Alarm turned OFF

Press down the VOL button, either plus (+) or minus (-). The alarm icon will appear if the alarm is turned on or disappear if it is turned off.

Step 4: Silence the Alarm



When the alarm sounds at the set time, it will sound for 30 seconds unless it is turned off before. The alarm icon flashes. Press any button in order to silence the alarm. Note: If the recorder is in recorder mode, the alarm will not sound at the preset alarm time. The alarm icon will flash. To stop the icon flashing, press any button.
