Before you can set the alarm, the lock control switch must be in the off position.
Step 2: Enter the Clock Mode
Press the MODE/INDEX button to display the clock and date.
Step 3: Enter the Alarm Mode
Press the MODE/INDEX button again to enter the alarm mode and display the word ALARM.
Step 4: Enter the Set the Hour Mode
Press the DISP/SET button for about 2 seconds until the hour digits flash.
Step 5: Set the Hour
Press or hold down the VOL button, either plus (+) or minus (-), until the desired hour for the alarm to sound is displayed.
Step 6: Enter the Set the Minutes Mode and Set the Minutes
Press the DISP/SET button for about 2 seconds until the minute digits flash. Press or hold down the VOL button, either plus (+) or minus (-), until the desired minutes are displayed.
Step 7: Save the Settings
Press DISP/SET to save the settings. The alarm icon will display to let you know that the alarm is set. The alarm is automatically turned on when the alarm time is set.
Step 8: Silence the Alarm
When the alarm sounds at the set time, it will sound for 30 seconds unless it is turned off before. The alarm icon flashes. Press any button in order to silence the alarm.
Note: If the recorder is in recorder mode, the alarm will not sound at the preset alarm time. The alarm icon will flash. To stop the icon flashing, press any button.
