Tutorial: How to Set the Clock and the Date

This tutorial will show you how to set the clock and the date on your digital recorder. There are two modes of operation on your recorder; one is recorder mode, and the other is clock mode. When your recorder is left idle for more than thirty seconds or when it is reset, clock mode is automatically selected.

Step 1: Unlock the Controls



Before you can set the clock and the date, the lock control switch must be in the off position.

Step 2: Enter the Set the Hour Mode



In clock mode, press down the DISP/SET button that is on the side of the recorder for approximately 2 seconds until the hour digits flash.

Step 3: Set the Hour



To adjust to the correct hour, press down on the VOL button, plus (+) or minus (-), until the correct hour is shown on the display. If it is afternoon, make sure that the letters "PM" are displayed.

Step 4: Enter the Set the Minutes Mode and Set the Minutes



Press the DISP/SET button until the minute digits flash. Press the VOL button until the correct minute is displayed.

Step 5: Enter the Set the Year Mode and Set the Year



Press the DISP/SET button until the year digits flash. Press the VOL button until the correct year is displayed.

Step 6: Enter the Set the Month Mode and Set the Month



Press the DISP/SET button until the month letters flash. Press the VOL button until the correct month is displayed.

Step 7: Enter the Set the Day Mode and Set the Day



Press the DISP/SET button until the day digits flash. Press the VOL button until the correct day is displayed.

Step 8: Save the Settings



Press the DISP/SET button to save the settings.
