The user may program the unit only when the system is in the DISARMED
state.

TO ENTER PROGRAM MODE

1.  Press PROGRAM key.

2.  PROGRAM LED flashes.

3.  Enter master code.

4.  If code is in error, 

    a)  8 beeps (250ms) error code sounds, or

    b)  if 3rd error, 

        abort programming mode attempt

        Program LED off, 

        Display DISARMED state, 

        Lock out system access for 5 minutes

    c)  If code not entered in 30 seconds, 

        1 beep (1 second)

        Cancel program mode attempt

        Return to DISARMED state.

    d)  If code is correct, 

        PROGRAM LED on steady, enter PROGRAM mode, 

        All other LEDs will be off, 

        Sound 2 short (250ms) beeps.

Once the user has entered the PROGRAM mode, a 5 minute time out is in
effect.

If not key is pressed for 5 minutes, the alarm will default back to the
disarmed state.

PROGRAMMING OPTIONS

TO PROGRAM NEW USER CODE, AMBUSH CODE OR MASTER CODE.

1.  Press user code digit (1 for master programming mode, 2-7 for user
    codes or 8 for AMBUSH code).

2.  Corresponding LED will flash (All zone LEDs will flash for AMBUSH
    code).

3.  Press digits for code, within 30 seconds.

    If 5 minute time-out before key press

        Abort user code entry, 8 beeps, 

        LED off.

    If 4 digits are entered, 

        Sound 1 beep (500ms)

        Re-enter code for verification.

    If correct code is verified,

        Sound 2 beeps (250ms) store new code.

    If incorrect code is entered,

        8 beeps, clear new code buffer, return to Step 3.

    If 5 minute time-out before key press, 

        Restore previous code, 

        LED off.

4.  Press CANCEL to abort at any point, 

    Restore old code, 

    Sound 1 second beep.

TO SET HOME MODE ZONE ASSIGNMENT.

1.  Press HOME KEY.

2.  LEDs for zones assigned to HOME mode monitoring will be on.

3.  LEDs for zones not assigned to HOME mode will be off.

4.  HOME LED will flash.

5.  To assign a zone to HOME mode monitoring,

    See that zone LED is off.

    Press zone number key (1-7).

    Zone LED will turn on, zone is assigned for HOME monitoring.

TO REMOVE A ZONE FROM HOME MONITORING.

1.  See that zone LED is on.

2.  Press zone number key (1-7).

3.  Zone LED will go off, zone is deassigned from HOME mode monitoring.

TO ABORT NEW ASSIGNMENTS, PRESS CANCEL.

1.  Original HOME zone assignments will display.

2.  Sound 1 second beep. 

3.  Zone and HOME LEDs will go off.

TO SAVE NEW HOME ZONE ASSIGNMENT, PRESS PROGRAM KEY.

1.  Sound 2 short beeps.

2.  Zone and HOME LED will go off.

TO SET AWAY MODE ZONE ASSIGNMENT.

1.  Press AWAY key.

2.  LEDs for zones assigned to AWAY mode monitoring will be on.

3.  LEDs for zones not assigned to AWAY mode will be off.

4.  AWAY LED will flash.

5.  To assign a zone to AWAY mode monitoring

    See that zone LED is off.

    Press zone number key (1-7).

    Zone LED will turn on, zone is assigned for AWAY monitoring.

6.  To remove a zone from AWAY monitoring.

    See that zone LED is on.

    Press zone number key (1-7).

    Zone LED will go off, zone is deassigned from AWAY mode monitoring.

7.  To abort new assignments, press CANCEL.

    Original AWAY zone assignments will display.

    Sound 1 second beep.

    Zone and AWAY LEDs will go off.

8.  To save new assignments, press PROGRAM key.

    Sound 2 beeps (250ms)

    Zone and AWAY LED will go off.

TO SET DAY MODE ZONE ASSIGNMENTS.

1.  Press "O" key.

2.  LEDs for zones assigned to DAY mode monitoring will be on.

3.  LEDs for zones not assigned to DAY mode monitoring will be off.

4.  To assign a zone to DAY mode monitoring

    See that zone LED is off.

    Press zone number key (1-7).

    Zone LED will turn on, zone is assigned for DAY monitoring.

5.  To remove a zone from DAY monitoring.

    See that zone LED is on.

    Press zone number key (1-7).

    Zone LED will go off, zone is deassigned from DAY mode monitoring.

6.  To abort new assignments, press CANCEL.

    Original DAY zone assignments will display.

    Sound 1 sound beep.

    Zone LEDs will go off.

7.  To save new assignments, press PROGRAM key.

    Sound 2 beeps (250ms)

TO SET DELAY SETTINGS

1.  Press DELAY key.

2.  LEDs for zones with delays programmed will be on.

3.  LEDs for zones without delays will be off.

4.  DELAY LED will be on.

5.  To assign a zone for DELAY.

    See that zone LED is off.

    Press zone number key (1-7).

    Zone LED will flash.

    Enter one of 6 available delay selections (Delay=n x 10 seconds where
    n=1 thru 6).

    Zone LED will go on steadily.

6.  To deassign a zone from DELAY.

    See that zone LED is on.

    Press zone number key (1-7).

    Zone LED will go off, zone is now an instant alarm zone (no delay).

7.  Press CANCEL to abort without changing settings.

    Restore original settings

    Store settings

    Sound 1 second beep

    Zone LEDs and DELAY LED will go off.

8.  To save new DELAY settings, press PROGRAM,

    Sound 2 beeps (250ms)

    Zone LEDs and DELAY LED will go off.

TO EXIT PROGRAMMING MODE

1.  Press CANCEL key.

2.  PROGRAM LED off.

3.  System returns to DISARMED state.
