Storage Capacity

The EC-370 can store a total of 31,034 units of information. Each record

memory depending on its length and size.

  Each character (letter, number, space, symbol, etc.) uses 1 unit.

  Each line of a record uses 1 unit for overhead.

  Each record you store uses 1 unit for overhead.

For example, a memo containing the following list would use 44 memory
units (37 units for the characters + 6 units for the lines + 1 unit for
overhead = 44 units overall):

    GROCERY LIST     EGGS
    BREAD            SUGAR
    MILK             LETTUCE
