To transfer data from your organizer to a computer (or vice-versa), you 
must first connect a PC Link cable (available through RadioShack 
Unlimited) between the PC PORT jack on the organizer and your PC's serial 
port (see the PC Link Owner's Manual).  Then follow the steps under 
"Transferring All Records" or "Transferring Selected Records" below.

You can transfer only BOOKMARK (bookmark symbol), PHONE (phone symbol), 
SCHED (schedule symbol), MEMO (note pad symbol), or ANNIV (package symbol) 
records.

Transferring All Records

1.  Install the PC Link software on your computer according to the 
    instructions in the PC Link's owner's manual.

2.  Select Model L from the PC Link Menu.

3.  Press the desired function key to transfer all of its records to your 
    PC.

4.  Follow the directions in the PC Link's owner's manual to specify the 
    serial port to use to connect the computer and organizer, and to 
    select the same function that you selected on the organizer.

5.  Press LINK on your organizer.  TX.RX.? (T/R) (transmit/receive) 
    appears.

6.  To transmit from the organizer to the PC, press T on the organizer.
    TRANSMIT...appears.

To receive from the PC, press R on the organizer RECEIVING...appears.

Notes: If an error occurs during the transfer, ERROR appears.  Repeat the 
       procedure.

       When the record transfer to the organizer is complete the organizer
       pauses to update its records, then the normal display appears.

       To cancel the transfer at any time, press C/CE.

Transferring Selected Records 

1.  To transmit only selected records, recall the desired record.

2.  Press SHIFT MARK *.  * appears to the left of the recalled record. 

3.  Repeat Steps 1 and 2 to mark all the records you want to transfer. 

4.  Press SHIFT then LINK.  SEND MARK DATA? (Y/N) appears.

5.  To transfer the marked record(s) to your PC, press Y; otherwise, press 
    N.
