You can store conversion values and label them so that you can quickly
convert currencies, measurements, and so on.
Storing a Value in Conversion Memory
Example: To store a currency conversion rate of L0.51 pounds to the
dollar, do the following:
1. Press AC to enter the calculator mode. 0 appears.
2. Press CONV to enter the conversion mode.
3. Press N/S to enter the set mode. SET and CONV ? appears.
4. Enter the text that explains the conversion. Here, we input $ - L. To
input these symbols printed next to character keys, press A<->N so that
A disappears from the display.
5. Press <right arrow) to move the cursor into the number section of the
display. ? appears.
6. Input 0.51 as the rate to use for the conversion. Press SET tp store
the data in memory.
7. Repeat the procedure from Step 4 above to input more rates, or press AC
to exit the procedure.
Using a Conversion Memory
Follow this example to convert $25 to pounds using the example conversion
rate you entered in "Storing a Value in Conversion Memory."
1. Press AC.
2. Press CONV. The conversion displays appears. Press (down arrow) or
(up arrow) to display the desired conversion.
3. Enter 25 and press (right arrow).
Follow this example to convert L10 to dollars using the example conversion
rate you entered in "Storing a Value in Conversion Memory."
1. Press AC.
2. Press CONV. The conversion display appears. Press (down arrow) or (up
arrow) to display the desired conversion.
3. Enter 10 and press (left arrow).
NOTE: The display shows an arrow mark to indicate the way the conversion
calculation is made. When you enter the conversion symbol (such as $ - L),
be sure to enter them in the correct order.
Editing or Deleting Conversion Memory
Follow these steps to edit or delete a conversion memory.
1. Press AC.
2. Press Conv. The conversion display appears.
3. Press N/S. Then press (down arrow) or (up arrow) to display the
desired conversion.
4. Press (right arrow) or (left arrow) to move the cursor to the location
to change and edit as necessary.
To delete the conversion, press C.
6. Press SET to store. Then press N/S to exit the set mode.
