Press any blue key except SET to turn on the EC-239.

(clock symbol) - Press once to display the current date/time.  Press twice
                 to display the daily alarm.  Press SET after pressing
                 (clock symbol) to change the date/time or daily alarm
                 time.

 (bell symbol) - Press to recall a schedule alarm.

       (STORE) - Press to check the EC-239's memory capacity.  Then press
                 (bell symbol) to enter a schedule alarm.

      (RECALL) - To recall a directory/memo record, press RECALL, enter
                 the first few characters of the record, then press RECALL
                 again.  To scroll through more than 1 record, repeatedly
                 press RECALL or S.BK.

       (TIMER) - Press to display the EC-239's timer.  Then press SET,
                 enter a countdown time, press SET, then press C.DN to
                 countdown.  Or press TIMER then C.UP to count up.  Press
                 STOP to stop either count.

        (CALC) - Press to use the calculator.  To use the EC-239's account
                 manager, press CALC then ACCT.

        (LOCK) - Press to lock out a record.

Press RESET on the back of the EC-239 to reset it.  Then re-enter the
current data/time and daily alarm time.
