Handle the organizer gently and carefully. Don't drop it.
Keep the organizer away from dust and dirt.
Wipe the organizer with a damp cloth occasionally to keep it looking
new.
Modifying or tampering with the organizer's internal components can cause
a malfunction and invalidate its warranty. If your organizer is not
performing as it should, take it to your local RadioShack store for
assistance.
REPLACING THE BATTERY
Your organizer comes with two button-cell batteries for power. when the
display dims or the organizer does not work properly, replace the
batteries. For good performance and long life, we recommend alkaline
batteries such as RadioShack Cat. No. 23-115. For even longer life, use
silver oxide batteries such as Cat. No. 23-105.
CAUTIONS: To avoid losing the information stored in your EC-237, do not
remove both batteries at the same time.
Use only fresh batteries of the required size and recommended
type.
Do not mix old and new batteries or different types of
batteries.
Follow these steps to replace the batteries without losing the information
in the organizer's memory.
1. Press ON/OFF to turn off the organizer.
2. Slide the battery compartment cover in the direction of the arrow to
remove it.
3. Remove only one of the batteries and insert a new one with the
positive (+) side facing up. Then do the same with the other
battery.

CAUTIONS: Dispose of old batteries promptly and properly. Do not burn or
bury them.

chemicals that can destroy electronic parts.
