Your RadioShack EC-289 3K Electronic Organizer with Executive Paper
Planner by Day Runner stores the names and phone numbers of your personal
and business contacts, as well as information about your daily schedule,
all in one compact and easy-to-use package.
The EC-289's Pager ID function lets you search for a contact file using up
to 8 digits of a telephone number. This feature is ideal when you receive
a page, but do not recognize the telephone number displayed on your pager.
The EC-289 has these handy features:
Phonebook file - lets you store your contacts'
names and telephone and fax
numbers.
Memo/Alert File - lets you record appointment
times, dates, and the details,
and set the EC-289 to
automatically sound an alarm to
remind you of the appointment.
3K Memory - lets you store up to 135
phonebook records, up to 49
memo/alert records, or varying
numbers of the two record types
combined.
Pager ID Number Search - lets you search for a record by
entering up to 8 of the last
digits of a telephone or fax
number.
Name Search - lets you search for a record by
entering up to 8 characters of a
contact's name.
Date and Time with Daily Alarm - keeps track of the date and time
and lets you set an alarm to
remind you of an important daily
event.
10-Digit Calculator - to do standard arithmetic
calculations.
Automatic Shut-Off - conserves battery power by
automatically turning off the
EC-289 if you do not press a key
for about 3 minutes.
Executive Paper Planner by Day Runner - holds your EC-289 in a compact
binder, along with pages for
written records of important
information, including weekly
calendars to track your busy
schedule and pages for your
contacts' names and telephone
numbers. (You can order paper
planner refills through your
local RadioShack store.)
