Turning on security by setting up and using a four-digit pass code
prevents any access to your Organizer's contents or functions.

Adding Password Protection

  Press STOP ([]) to be sure you're at the current time and date display.

  Press SAVE.  the display shows "SECURITY OFF."

  Hold down the EDIT button until you hear the double beep.

  Hold down the CALENDAR button.

  Say [a four-digit code.]  Pause between digits.

  Release the CALENDAR button.

Turning Security On

  Press the SAVE button.  The display shows "SECURITY OFF."

  Hold down the CALENDAR button.

  Say [your four-digit code]  Pause between digits.

  Release the CALENDAR button.  The display shows "SECURITY ON"
                  briefly.

Turning Security Off

  Press any button.  The display shows "SECURITY....."

  Hold down the CALENDAR button.

  Say ............. [your four-digit code.]  Pause between digits.

  Release ......... the CALENDAR button.  The display shows "SECURITY OFF"
                  before returning to the basic time and date.

Changing Your Code

  Press the SAVE button.

  Hold down the EDIT button until you hear the double beep.  "OLD CODE"
  appears on the display.

  Hold down the CALENDAR button.

  Say [your old code.]

  Release the CALENDAR button.  "NEW CODE" appears on the display.

  Hold down the CALENDAR button.

  Say [your new code.]

  Release the CALENDAR button.

Hint:  To turn security on or off without saying your code out loud, press
       the Save button, then press EDIT once and use the (>), (/\) and
       Save buttons for entering your code.

WARNING!  Security can be turned off only by entering the correct code. If
          you forget your code, you will have to perform a complete reset,
          which will erase all your data and require that you perform set
          up again.
