Setting Up Expense Files

  Press the FILES button.

  Press (>) repeatedly until "EXPENSES OPEN" shows on the display.

  Hold down the FILES button.

  Say "Expenses."  Repeat as prompted.  Continue to hold down the FILES
  button.

  Say [all the words that appear on the display] until "SAVED" scrolls
  across the screen.

  Release the FILES button.

These are the categories included in the Expenses voice recognition setup.

HINT:  When training, you may want to say words which are more familiar to
       you, for example: "Lodging" instead of "Hotel" or "Cab" instead of
       "Taxi."

Recording Expenses

  Hold down the FILES button.

  Say "Expenses."  The display prompts "CATEGORY." Continue to hold down
  the FILES button.

  Say [desired category, such as car rental, hotel, etc.]  The category
  name plays back for confirmation.

  Release the FILES button.

  Hold down the RECORD button.

  Say [your expense, for example: "Hotel in LA-$125."]

  Release the RECORD button.

Retrieving Expenses

  Hold down the FILES button.

  Say "Expenses."  The display prompts "CATEGORY."  Continue to hold down
  the FILES button.

  Say [desired category, such as car rental, hotel, etc.]  The category
  name plays back for confirmation.

  Release the FILES button.

  Press (/\) to hear your expense memo.

  Press (<) or (>) to scroll to another memo.

To play all continually, hold down the (/\) button until you hear the
double beep.  Press (/\) to pause and again to continue, or press STOP
([]) to cancel playback.

Deleting an Expense

  Find the expense recording you want to erase.  Play at least a portion
  of it to confirm your selection.

  Hold down the ERASE button until you hear the double beep.

Deleting All Expenses in a Category

  Hold down the FILES button.

  Say "Expenses" followed by [desired category, such as car rental, hotel,
  etc].  The category name plays back for confirmation.

  Release the FILES button.

  Hold down the ERASE button until you hear the double beep.  The display
  prompts "ERASALL."

  Press the ERASE button again or STOP ([]) to cancel.

Deleting All Expenses in All Categories

  Hold down the FILES button.

  Say "Expenses."

  Hold down the ERASE button until you hear the double beep.  The display
  prompts "ERASALL."

  Press the ERASE button to confirm deletion.

Re-recording an Expense Category Name

  Press the FILES button repeatedly until EXPENSE is displayed.

  Hold down the EDIT button until you hear the double beep.  The display
  will blink "EXPENSE."

  Press (>) to locate the category you want to re-record.

  Hold down the FILES button.

  Say [the category name the way you want it recognized and played back
  for confirmation.]  You will be prompted to say the name at least three
  times.

  Release the FILES button.
