Your IQ-VOICE Organizer has the following control buttons:

BUTTON ......... FUNCTION

PHONE .......... Use for recalling or recording phone numbers.

FILES .......... Press to select a file.

RECORD ......... Hold down to record memos.

MICROPHONE ..... Hold your Voice Organizer 6-8 Inches from your mouth and
                 talk directly into it.

(>) NEXT ....... Press to play memos or to scroll forward.

([]) STOP ...... Press to cancel and return to the current date and time.

EDIT ........... Use to make changes manually, including the clock,
                 recording speed and to initiate special functions.  Also
                 used to increase volume.

ERASE .......... Hold down to delete a memo or an appointment.

SAVE ........... Press to store information.

TRAIN .......... Press to set up voice recognition.  Also used to decrease
                 volume.

(/\) PLAY ...... Press to play memos or appointments.

(<) PREV ....... Press to play memos or to scroll backward.

CALENDAR ....... Hold down to record a time for an appointment or to call
                 up a date.
DISPLAY ICONS

MEMO ........... You're recording or playing a memo.

PHONE .......... You're ready to enter or retrieve a phone number.

CALENDAR ....... You're ready to browse your calendar or review an
                 appointment.

LOW BATTERY .... Time to change your batteries.

MEMORY ......... % of remaining memory flashes when you begin to record.

DOUBLE BELL .... You have a recurring appointment on this date.

SINGLE BELL .... You have at least one appointment on this date.

BACKLIT DISPLAY

The back light will automatically go on each time any button is pressed.
It will stay lit for only a few seconds to conserve battery life.
