Your RadioShack EC-288 3K Electronic Organizer with Paper Planner stores
the names and phone numbers of your personal and business contacts, as
well as information about your daily schedule - all in one compact and
easy to use package.

The EC-288's Pager ID function lets you search through records using up to
8 digits of a telephone number.  This feature is ideal when you receive a
page, but do not recognize the telephone number displayed on your pager.

The EC-288 has these features:

       Phone Book file - lets you store your contacts' names and telephone
                         and fax numbers.

       Memo/Alert File - lets you record appointment times, dates, and
                         details, and set the EC-288 to automatically
                         sound an alarm to remind you of the appointment.

             3K Memory - lets you store up to 135 phone book records, up
                         to 49 memo/alert records, or varying numbers of
                         the two record types combined.

Pager ID Number Search - lets you search for a record by entering up to 8
                         of the last digits of a telephone or fax number.

           Name Search - lets you search for a record by entering up to 8
                         characters of a contact's name.

  Time/Date/Alarm Mode - keeps track of the date and time and lets you set
                         an alarm to remind you of an important daily
                         event.

   10-Digit Calculator - to do standard arithmetic calculations.

         Security Lock - you can enter a 2 digit security code to prevent
                         unauthorized access to your records.

    Automatic Shut-Off - conserves battery power by automatically turning
                         off the EC-288 if you do not press a key for
                         about 3 minutes.

Spiral Bound Paper Day - lets you keep a written record of important
    Runner Planner       events. (You can order paper planner refills for
                         the EC-288's binder through your local RadioShack
                         store.)

       Magnetic Binder - holds the organizer in place.

CAUTION:  Because the EC-288's binder is magnetized, do not place credit
          cards, automatic teller machine cards, or other cards with a
          magnetic strip in or near the binder.  This could damage the
          cards.
