REMOVING THE BATTERY INSULATION STRIP

Your organizer comes with an insulation strip that helps preserve battery
power during shipping.  Before using the organizer, remove the strip from
the battery compartment.

1.  Flip open the organizer's wallet so you can see the keys.  Then lift
    the unattached end of the organizer and swing it away from the wallet
    until it is face down.

2.  Pull the insulation strip away from the organizer.

3.  Swing the organizer back inside its wallet.

TURNING ON THE ORGANIZER

To turn on the organizer, press one of these symbols [clock], [telephone],
[schedule], or [calculator].

The organizer automatically turns off if you do not press a key for about
4 minutes.

TURNING THE KEY TONE ON AND OFF

Your organizer is preset to sound a tone each time you press a key.  To
turn off the key tone, press [clock symbol] then [Z.].  A beep sounds to
confirm that the key tone changed.  To turn the key tone back on, press
[clock symbol] then [Z.] again.

SETTING THE DATE AND TIME

1.  Press [clock symbol].  The date and time appear.

2.  The organizer automatically selects the 12 hour format.  For the 24
    hour format, repeatedly press the key below AM/PM until A (for AM)
    disappears.

3.  Hold down [clock symbol] until the day of the week flashes.

4.  Repeatedly press [/\] or [\/] until the correct day of the week
    appears, then press [Enter].  The month digits flash.

    Note:  To move rapidly through the days, hold down [/\] or [\/].

5.  Repeat Step 4 to set the month, date, year, hour, and minute.  After
    you set the minutes and press [Enter],  the date and time are set.
