EC-394/EC-399 Pager ID Data Organizer
(650-0729/30) Preparation Faxback Doc. # 46218

Before Using The Organizer

Important: Your organizer's electronic memory stores and recalls
information quickly and easily. However, the organizer retains
information only as long as power is supplied by the batteries.
If the batteries die, or if you remove both batteries at the
same time, data stored in memory might be lost entirely. Data
can also be corrupted or lost due to a strong electrostatic
charge, strong impact, or extremes in temperature and humidity.
All of this means that you should always keep written back-up
           copies of important data.

How This Manual is Organized

The organizer lets you use three different types of records: telephone,
memo, and schedule. The sections of this manual that describe how to
store and maintain those records are organized like this:

  To Store A Record

Each record type has its own section to describe how to enter and store
that type of record. For example, you can find out how to store a
telephone record by looking in "Telephone Directory" in Faxback Doc.
  # 46221.

  To Maintain A Record

Since the instructions on how to maintain (recall, edit, copy, delete)
all record types are the same, this information is grouped together in
sections under "Maintaining Stored Records" in Faxback Doc. # 46222.
So, for example, you can find out how to edit a telephone, memo, and
schedule, record all in one section by looking in "Editing a Stored
Record" in Faxback Doc. # 46222.
