Phone Directory
The telephone directory will hold 20 names (with up to four phone numbers
each).
The [PHONE] button is used for name and number entry, number retrieval and
name recording. During voice input of a number, there is a 10-second grace
period if you release the [PHONE] button, during which you may press
[PHONE] again and continue.
Press [<-<-PREV] and [->->NEXT] to move from phone number to phone number.
Hold [EDIT] for a double beep to enter a new name or number.
Press [EDIT] for a single beep to change a number.
Press [SELECT] to move from digit to digit, [<-<-PREV] or [->->NEXT] to
change a digit. Press [ERASE] to delete a digit. Press [SAVE] to save the
edited phone number.
Manual Number Entry
When adding a number to the directory you can choose to enter the digits of
the phone number manually. At the NUMBER display, press the [EDIT] button,
then use [<-<-PREV] and [->->NEXT] to set the first digit and [SELECT] to
move to the next digit. Press [SAVE] after entering the last digit.
Retraining or Re-recording a Name in Phone Directory
To retrain an existing name in the phone directory for better voice
recognition or to change playback, retrieve the name in the usual way.
Then, while the number is displayed, press [TRAIN], then hold the [PHONE]
button and say the name, repeating when prompted.
