Monthly Calendar
Your EC-382's calendar can display any month from January 1990 to December
2089.
Press MONTHLY CALENDAR to enter the calendar. The calendar for the current
month appears with the current date flashing.
To scroll through the months one day at a time, use <- or ->. Hold down
the key to quickly advance to a specific day.
To scroll through the months one week at a time, use /\ or \/. Hold down
the key to quickly advance to a specific day.
To scroll through the year one month at a time, press NEXT or LAST. Hold
down either key to quickly move through the months.
To scroll through the calendar one year at a time, press + or -. Hold
down either key to quickly move through the years.
Notes: If you move the cursor into the blank area at the beginning of the
calendar, the previous month appears. If you move the cursor into
the blank area at the end of the calendar, the next month appears.
A dot to the right of the date means there is a to do list & schedule
record for that date.
You can enter a to do list & schedule record from the calendar dis-
play. Hold down <, >, /\ or \/ to quickly move to a specific day,
then press ENTER. The date appears in the date field of a new
record. Enter the record (see "Entering To Do List and Schedule
Records" on Faxback Doc. # 45490).

To use your EC-382 to perform standard arithmetic calculations, press CALC
CE/AC.
Calculator Tips
Press CALC CE/AC once to cancel the last entry or twice to clear the dis-
play for the next calculation.
If the result of a calculation is more than 10 digits long, or if you try
to divide by 0, ERROR appears. If this happens, press CALC CE/AC to clear
the display.
Press /\ to scroll backward through your calculations one line at a time
or \/ to scroll forward (up to 60 lines).
Press LAST to scroll backward through your calculations one screen at a
time, or NEXT to scroll forward.
Standard Calculations
Press the keys in the order the calculation would appear on paper.
For example:
You press: The display's last line shows:
3 + 4 = = - 7.
3 - 4 = = - 1.
8 x 3 - 4 = = 20.
